Core drilling (full core drilling) in the world of geotechnical drilling is carried out to determine the nature and characteristics of the soil in the field so that you can know the type of soil at that location. The tool used is a spindle drilling machine or Jacro type. Drilling is carried out using a rotary drilling machine. The types of drill bits prepared are based on the types available at the location such as:

• Sand
• Silty clay stone
• Clay sand

This drilling work includes core drilling using a Rotary Boring Machine with a diameter of 60 mm and carrying out standard penetration tests (SPT Standard Penetration Test). Implementation of this work includes the following matters:

1. Prepare a detailed work plan which includes a list of personnel and schedule.
2. Mobilization of other equipment and preparation of field work, including transporting equipment to the work site.
3. Transport and set up tools and prepare locations for drilling machine stands and other equipment.
4. Carrying out technical drilling (core) and standard penetration testing (SPT) as well as taking undisturbed samples.
5. Label the sample box and aid with a black marker containing information on the project name and location and drill point number as well as the depth range as well as the name of the work implementer.
6. Demobilization of tools and equipment as well as cleaning the work site from rubbish and other debris generated during the work.
